So much of healing depends on your
How many times have you heard someone say
"She made herself sick?" or "He worked himself into a heart attack?"
And how true!
What is there in this world that you are making yourself ill over?
Isn't that you secretly believe that something outside
of yourself will make you happy?
is the most dangerous of thoughts.
"If only" I had an education;
"If only I had her looks",
"If only I had her intelligence",
"If only I had a million dollars."
This is not to say that you should not have any ambition
toward anything in the material world.
This is to remind you that things in the material world
are but a "means to an end".
Everything in the material world leads to a lesson.
Some lessons are harsh; some gentle and joyful.
If we pay attention, we soon learn which are which.
If we do not pay attention,
we are doomed to relive
the same painful lessons over and over.
The first step in being healed to let go of expectation,
even the expectation of being healed.
Expectation is a statement of out-of-timeness--
a looking forward to the future.
To be healed, you must be in the NOW.
Sit and meditate,
Release ALL things to the Goddess:
Become empty of aspiration.
When you have released all things,
sit quietly and become the part of your physical self
that is suffering.
Become that part, love that part,
feel that part.
Trust that whatever is to be, will be.
For whatever is to come, is a lesson for you,
and you will be the better for it.
Never try to force some part of you to heal.
This is not to say that should not seek medical assistance.
Take whatever prudent steps are called for.
Meditate at each step of the way
for guidance on what you should do next.
But be NOT AFRAID.
Know that all is happening for a reason--
a lesson that will strengthen and purify your immortal being.
Fear not for the physical self,
for this is only a tiny, transient part of you.
Visualize yourself as healed, for it is an act of faith to do this.
Let not doubt enter your mind.
There is, no guarantee of what will happen,
for every lesson must be learned,
sooner or later.
However, visualizing your healing is a practice in faith,
and that is a lesson worth learning itself.
In fact, it may be the most important lesson of all.
