I love you, my Sacred Child.
You are my beloved.
And I am yours.
I love everything about you.
I love how you cry, smile, scream, grunt, chortle,
rage, need, want, sleep, wet, nurse, mess.
I love washing you, changing your diaper,
holding you, feeding you.
I love that you are helpless.
I love that you need me.
I love that you are so very pure--untouched by judgment, unaltered from your natural state
of perfect innocence. Holding you in my arms makes me feel wonderful.
I feel alive, sometimes frightened,
by the responsibility,
overwhelmed by the miracle.
But mostly, I feel love.
You are Love, you are Life,
you are Creation--a brand new, miraculous creation.
Welcome Home, my beloved!
Welcome to my arms!
Welcome to the Outside of my body.
I am so very happy that I can finally hold you
in my arms and see you.
I have waited so long, with you in my womb,
to finally see you and hold you.
I am ecstatic.
We have completed a cycle of creation,
from my birth to yours.
We are part of the Great Mother,
links in a great chain stretching from primordial mud,
from murky darkness to here and now
and light.
We are linked together forever in Love,
in Life,
in Creation. |
