| As I believe and pray, she is created. As I think and feel, she is
created. Every cell of her body is created from me, from my cells, from my thoughts that
direct my body to create the chemicals and substances that she requires to grow. As my
thinking body flows life into her, and removes unneeded substances away from her, I
nurture her. This creation is sacred, for she is of God. I am sacred, for I am
of God. Every tiny part of us is linked in a communion holier than that of any church. For
we are one, yet separate, creation and creator.
And as she grows, her own thoughts, and the thoughts of her body begin to influence
her growth. She is learning from me how to create herself. My sacred blood flows into her,
her fluids return to me to be cast off.
My emotions flood her body with chemicals; her growing pains flood my body with
substances. My loving thoughts and consciousness of our sacredness, our holiness in
action, nurture and feed her every growing cell, her tiny brain, heart, liver, and make
her whole and well and strong. Her distress distresses me. Her comfort comforts me.
This is Holy Communion, holier than that of any church. Holier than that between man
and God, for this is between God and God. Both of us, mother and child are sacred because
we are of God. The One of us, MotherChild, is sacred, for we are of God. We are the
Goddess creating herself.
And we are a Holy Communion. |
