Seth is often regarded as a villian due to his legendary animosity toward his brother Osiris. However, Seth symbolizes chaos and decay, without which the universe would not stay in balance, and no collection of major Egyptian deities would be complete without him. He is the husband of Nepthys, sister of Isis.
