Egyptian Aegis-Hathor Hand Mirror
What lovely detail! The handle is capped with Het-Hert (Hathor) in her mother cow motif (she faces you either way you turn the mirror), topped with a shield bearing the pharaoh wearing solar disk and carrying the ankh. This aegis (shield) motif, was very popular with the Egyptian royals.
