Hail the Boy King of Egypt! Tutankhamun means "Living image of Amun". The young monarch, known to us in modern times as King Tut ruled approximately 3100 years ago in ancient Egypt. Approx. 1 1/4 inches tall.
The beautiful Queen Nefertiti was the Great Wife of the Heretic King, Akhenaten, who tried to bring monotheism to Egypt. She was King Tut's step-mother. Approx. 1 inch tall.
Lovers Scarab
The unusual scarab with heart-shaped wings contains the hieroglyphs for King Tut's throne name: Neb-Kheperu-Re. Scarabs of this type are called Heart Scarabs or Lover's Scarabs, since they were placed over the mummy's heart to remind the deceased of his loved ones in the afterlife. Approx. 1 inch tall.
