Chrysocholla
1st through 5th Chakras
Chrysocholla is usually found as a composite mineral containing portions of malachite
(dark green), azurite (dark blue) and chrysocholla (turquoise blue). In its purest state,
it is call gemmy chrysocholla, or gem silica, and is a translucent turquoise blue to
green. Gem silica is quite expensive. Chrysocholla calms and revitalizes the 1st, 2nd and
3rd chakras. When used at the 4th (heart) chakra, it is believed to heal a broken heart.
At the 5th (throat chakra), it gives to force to communication. As such, chrysocholla
should be balanced with a loving stone, such as pink opal, so that your communications do
not become harsh or cruel, or, it should be worn as a bracelet or in a pocket. A
chrysocholla necklace should contain stones that "tone down" the power of the
chrysocholla, to prevent you from "putting your foot in your mouth" by speaking
without thinking.
Stone of Gemini, Virgo, Taurus
Suggested uses: Carry chrysocholla in your pocket, on a key chain, or wear it as a
bracelet or ring. If you wear a necklace of chrysocholla, be sure that it includes other
"softening" stones, such as blue topaz. Chrysocholla can purify the home of
negative influences, so place several pieces of it on your window sills, or near your
