Crystal Healing and Chakra Balancing Instructions

Lesson #1 - Chakra Centering Layout

Our first lesson will acquaint your with the most common and basic of all Crystal Healing. Practice on a live volunteer, if possible.
Layout: The Chakra Centering Layout.
1. Cleanse and charge your stones.
2. Either use a flat surface and visualize a human body there, or, if you have a real volunteer
(not the cat or dog, please!) do the following:
3. Obtain permission from your volunteer to touch them. In some areas, you
may need to obtain written permission. Explain to your volunteer exactly where you plan to place the crystals for each of the chakras.
This is very, very important since, in some states or countries, it may be a criminal offense to touch another person without their permission, or to touch them in certain areas of their body. When you advance to working on clients, you will ALWAYS need to get permission to touch them and you will ALWAYS need to be aware of and understand the laws regarding the touching of other people in your city, county, state or country.
2. Place the hematite crystal above the volunteer's pelvic area (1st chakra) Don't get fresh here! If
you or your volunteer are uncomfortable about this, place the stone next to the ridge of the
pelvic (hip). Or, if you have more than one hematite, place one on either side of the hips on the floor (or bed, sofa, table, etc., on which the volunteer is laying).
3. Place the carnelian (orange) crystal several inches below the subject's navel ( Sacral or 2nd Chakra)
4. Place the citrine (yellow & white) crystal several inches above subject's navel.
5. Place the aventurine (green) AND the rose quartz (pink) crystals over the heart area. If you
are working with a female volunteer, it will be easier for you to place the stones in the center of
the chest instead.
6. Place the sodalite (dark blue) at the base of the throat (5th Chakra- Throat Chakra)
7. Place the amethyst (purple) between and slightly above the eyebrows. (6th Chakra -
Psychic Eye Chakra)
8. Place the clear quartz crystals right at the top of the forehead (7th Chakra - Crown Chakra). If
the stone slips off, place it on the floor right above the top of the subject's head.
Practice this several times until you are quickly able to identify the stones and place them
correctly. In general, the colors follow the colors of the rainbow, which in turn, follow a
sequence of increasing energy frequencies as you move from Base Chakra to Crown Chakra.
