There are only 7 basic chakra centers used in beginning Crystal Healing and
Chakra Balancing therapies. They are:
1. Base or Root Chakra.
Governs:
Basic Instincts, Survival, Physical Health, Feelings, Security (includes relationship with money)
2. Sacral Chakra.
Placement:
Below the navel, above the pelvis
Governs:
Sexuality, Creativity, Fear, Anger, Fertility
3. Solar Plexus Chakra
Placement:
Above the navel, below the chest
Governs:
Social Matters, Will, Ego, Self-Esteem, Status, Accomplishments
4. Heart Chakra.
Governs:
Altruism, Spiritual Love, Compassion, Nurturing
5. Throat Chakra
Governs:
Power of Expression, Personal Magnetism, link between thoughts and emotions
6. Brow (Psychic Eye) Chakra
Governs:
Psychic ability, intuition
7. Crown Chakra
Governs:
Spiritual Growth, Energy Collection from the Universe
In addition to the 7 chakras, there are a number of other energy centers used in our advanced
layouts. Their locations are self-explanatory: right palm, left palm, right and left shoulders,
thighs, bottom of feet, ankles, etc. For now, we will work only with the 7 main chakras noted above.
